Hello, My name is Steve Thompson.  I decided to start this website to document my travels and experiences for friends and family.  It has and continues to be a great adventure putting it all together.  First I want to thank all my friends and family that makes this possible.  They provide me with pictures, ideas and experiences most people don't get to.

I first experience travel thanks to my parents.  We moved around the country a little bit when I was younger and showed me many different things and places.  This set the bug "Travel Bug" I don't like the same thing all the time.  The experience of the new different excites me and makes me want more all the time.

This lead me to join the Navy out of school which gave me an even bigger exposure to the world mainly in Europe.  At this time I decided I was going back at some point and experience more.  Unfortunately a lot of the experience, pic and friends are not here.  Sorry this was way before social media and the easy use of cameras.
